Follow the journey!

We follow four farmers in Kenya and Tanzania. Watch their videos below.
Agnes
Agnes Kemunto Atoko is a mother, daughter, choirmaster, tea picker and an Action Africa farmer.
Agnes
The fertilizer she received from Action Africa means a lot and has helped protect her family during the pandemic. Furthermore, the guidance and assistance she has received through agronomic advice has significantly helped her achieve better results on her farm.
Anastancia
She teaches her friends and neighbors in the community so they can all benefit from her farming knowledge and experiences. Meet Action Africa farmer Anastancia Were Kulundu.
Anastancia
After joining Action Africa, Anastancia received fertilizer and hyper-local weather notifications that help her to plan with more certainty. As a result to her success, she has trained friends and neighbors.
Elibariki
“After registering by phone, the agricultural officer visited us, and trained us on how to use the fertilizer, as well as how to plant and take care of the crops we grow”. Action Africa farmer Elibariki Benjamin Kimati is hopeful of a big harvest this year.
Elibariki
The supplies and training from Yara were a great asset helping Elibariki use the right inputs at the right time. This precision resulted in doubling his yield and he looks forward to continue utilizing these skills he's developed through the program.
Jonathan
He serves his community, is an eternal optimist and has big plans for the future. Meet Action Africa farmer Jonathan Hadson Mjema.
Jonathan
On average, Jonathan harvests 22-23 sacks of rice, but this past year he has seen a huge increase thanks to the Action Africa initiative. And after harvesting more than 30 sacks, there has been a tremendous increase in produce for the community.
