Yara employees surprise new CEO with welcome video

On September 9, Svein Tore Holsether joined Yara as the company’s new President and CEO. Little did he know that his new colleagues had secretly video-recorded a welcome message for him. See how Yara employees from all over the world welcome Svein Tore into the Yara family.

Svein Tore Holsether joins Yara from Sapa Group, the world leader in aluminum solutions, where he has served as CEO for the past four years. Prior to this, he has held a number of management positions in Elkem, Orkla and Sapa. Holsether was born in Norway in 1972 and holds a BSc in Finance from the University of Utah.
