Thor Giæver

Mr. Giæver (born 1972) has served as EVP Corporate Strategy and Business Development (acting) since March 2025.

Giæver joined Yara in 2004 and has held several senior positions in the company. He was EVP & CFO from 2021 – 2025. He was SVP Investor Relations from 2011 to 2021 and has previously held the positions of Acting CFO (2014-2015) and Head of Controlling & Risk Management (2009-2011). He also has earlier experience from several finance positions at Ford Motor Company (1996-2004).

Giæver holds a BSc (Hons) degree from the School of Management, University of Bath, UK.
