Fernanda Lopes Larsen

EVP Corporate Development/EVP Africa & Asia (interim)

 

Ms. Lopes Larsen (born 1974) has served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and interim EVP Yara Africa & Asia since March 2025. Prior to this, she was Executive Vice President for Yara Africa & Asia from October 2020.

She joined Yara in 2012 and has since held several senior positions, the most recent being Senior Vice President for Indirect Procurement (2016–2020). Prior to joining Yara, Mrs. Lopes Larsen held manufacturing and procurement positions in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical companies Procter & Gamble and GlaxoSmithKline. Mrs Lopes Larsen was a Board member and non-Executive Director of Kemira, a Finnish sustainable chemical solutions company, from March 2023 to August 2024.  Since June 2024, she has been on the Board of Directors and non-Executive Director of Equinor, an international energy company headquartered in Norway. 

Ms. Lopes Larsen holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Graz University of Technology in Austria and a Master of Business Administration from IESE Business School in Spain. Additionally, she has specialized in Corporate Innovation at Stanford University in the United States.
